And, if you find something you love, it’s easy to share your favorites with friends and family.

How to Share Etsy Favorites

Sharing your favorites on Etsy can be fairly confusing if you’ve never done it before, but once you figure it out, it’s rather easy.

The first time you favorite an item on Etsy, you are prompted with the following popup:

Now, if you select to keep your favorites private, this could be why you are having such a hard time sharing your favorites.

Let’s take a look at how to fix this and share your favorites on both the Etsy app and the desktop website.

Sharing Favorites on Etsy Mobile App

• Open the Etsy app
• Tap “you” at the bottom right of the app
• Select profile
• Scroll down until you see “favorite items” and tap it.
• Tap the pencil icon next to the “search items” box
• If it says your collection is private, untoggle that option.
• Hit share to get your sharable link to your Etsy favorites

It’s that easy!

Sharing Favorites on Etsy Desktop Site

• Visit Etsy.com and log in
• Locate your profile picture at the top right of the screen and click it
• Click “view your profile”
• Locate your “favorite items” tab
• Under the favorite items heading should be your visibility settings
• If your favorites are set to private, make them public.
• Once public, click on the upwards arrow button toward the right of the page (see “3.” in image below)
• You’ve just copied your sharing link and can now share it to whoever you want!
